JONATHAN PERSONNE

Jonathan Robert has a generous creative muscle. First known as the singer, guitarist, lyricist, and main songwriter of the band Corridor (signed to the iconic Sub Pop label), it was in 2015 that he began to properly archive his surging ideas—which would eventually become Jonathan Personne, a polymorphous, permeable, and insatiable solo project. Across Histoire naturelle (2019), Disparitions (2020), Jonathan Personne (2022), Nouveau monde (2025), and soon, Répertoire (2026), he shifts from desert dream pop to Morricone-esque spaghetti rock, and from canonical indie rock to stylized grooves with Latin undertones. Prolific by necessity, and protean to be even more so, he usually manages three albums at a time—and the next step is always in the works.
